- My emphasis is to keep things goal oriented with sessions building on each other in a positive direction.
- We'll look for practical solutions – and a deeper understanding of the underlying issues.
- My style is to try to be understanding, supportive, thoughtful & focused – hoping we can build an honest and open counseling relationship. As an outsider who is not emotionally involved, I tend to give a lot of straightforward input, suggestions, and ideas.
- Telephone sessions are available when you are unable to meet in person.
License and Experience
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (L.P.C.) in the State of Colorado and have been in private practice in Fort Collins since 1977. Between 1972 and 2004 I administered the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for First National Bank of Fort Collins. Also as a guest-staff-member at the Mountain States Employers Council in Denver since 1981, I have been conducting training programs in Communication Skills for Business Professionals.

Insurance
I will submit all paperwork to your insurance carrier in order to have your claim filed. If your insurance carrier will not pay for counseling services, individual arrangements can be made on a sliding scale.
