I work with children, adults and their families. My approach begins with listening, because therapy is a shared process--we decide together what the problems are and what the treatment will be. We will discuss what techniques and strategies are known to be of help, always with respect for your preferences.
Education
My bachelor's degree is from Harvard University, in English Literature. My doctoral degree is from the University of Northern Colorado, in counseling psychology.
License, Certifications, and Experience
I am a Licensed Psychologist in the
State of Colorado.
I have been trained and certified as a school psychologist and as a drug and alcohol counselor, level III.
I have been in the practice of counseling psychology since 1976, beginning with eight years at the Larimer County Mental Health Center. If there is a particular therapeutic technique you are interested in, please ask me about it.
